The Leibster Award

So I just found out that my client Megan, nominated me for the Leibster Award. This award is given to an up and coming blogger who you see as an inspirations. The term itself  “Liebster” is German and means “Beloved, dearest or favorite”. I am extremely honored to be nominated.

The funny thing is, I don’t see myself as inspirational. I just enjoying posting about what I know, experience and love. So thank you Megan, for thinking of me.

Here is how it works:

11 Random Facts About ME!

  • I love pink toenails! The majority of the time (about (98%) my toenails are pink. Also, unpainted toenails freak me out. Seriously, they’re weird looking.
  • I love – and do not do enough of- hiking. There is something very relaxing about being outside and surrounded by nature with no phones or distractions.
  • The beach the beach the beach. I adore it. If I could live there, I would in a heartbeat. I love sitting in the sand, I’m not one of those girls scared to get dirty or sandy, I love it.

  • Learning new, challenging pole tricks is a high I can’t even explain. The sense of accomplishment is like nothing I have found anywhere else. If my muscles and energy would hold up, I think I’d pole all day, just playing.
  • I hate when simple things don’t work. For some reason it upsets me greatly. Like when you have three remotes to turn on the TV but one keeps turning off the satelite and the other the screen and BAH
  • I am not sure what I would do without my pets. That sounds creepy, but seriously I love loving them. They are always there when I get home, happy to see me and know when I’m sick and need to snuggle. I love them- all of them.
  • While I have many piercings and tattoos, if you try to put a needle in me for medical reasons I will lose my shit. Seriously, the anxiety I experience from them is not normal.
  • Drinking Starbucks makes me feel special. For no other reason that I feel “cool” holding the cup – that and it is really yummy

  • If I could wear shorts, a bikini top and a hoodie all day, every day I would. It is the one outfit that makes me feel sexy no matter what.
  • I wish I could dance better in heals. It enrages me that such a small thing is so challenging and that I am that uncoordinated.

  1. What are 3 things you can’t live without? 
    1. Sun, coffee, a friend
  2. If you could offer your 16 year old self some life advise, what would it be? 
    1. Time doesn’t heal all wounds, but the wounds scar over and hurt less.
  3. What is your favourite way to get active? 
    1. I don’t have just one- I can’t. I strength train, I use TRX, I pole dance. If I had just one I’d probably be bored.
  4. What is your ideal night look like? 
    1. Ohh hard one! I have such a hard time between relaxing, exciting, working out!! Probably a bonfire on the beach after a hard pole session (best of all worlds?)
  5. What is your favourite motivational quote?
    1. Don’t have one. It varies depending on what I struggle with at the time…
  6. What is your favourite part about yourself?
    1. Looks-wise? My butt. I worked damn hard for it and I love the way it looks.
    2. Personality-wise? Probably the dedication to fight for what I want, what i’m passionate about, to not give up.  
  7. What made you start blogging? 
    1. I enjoy writing. It is as much therapy for me s it might be motivation for others.
  8. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? 
    1. To a private island somewhere hot, sunny, warm and with blue water.
  9. What is your meal to prepare? 
    1. Oh lord. No Idea. I have recently started to enjoy cooking, prepping and planning but in no way do I have a specific one!
  10. Night Owl or Early Riser? 
    1. Early Riser- now. For a very long time, I was up till 4am and slept till noon. Now, I find I am more productive in the morning between 6:30-10am. Once I get out of bed, I am easily awake.
  11. What are your current fitness goals? 
    1. Hrm, tricky one. I don’t want to say I don’t have goals but their  bit different… I want to increase my deadlift by another 15lbs – without pain. I want to be able to do the splits and complete my jade splits (pole move). I want to be able to dance for a full song without feeling completely drained.
