Why am I a badass?
I love results. Seriously. I love them.
And as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Advanced Pole Dance Instructor & Nutrition coach, I get results. A lot.
You can read a bit more about my life journey here but there are a few things you should know before going any further:
I believe in the principals of progression. Basically this means that you can't run before you can walk. Or, in the pole world; you can't invert until you can climb. Regardless, I think that everyone needs to start from the ground up in order to achieve the best results- no cheating here!
I value quality instruction. There are a zillion "programs" out there written by people with no function knowledge who simply use the it worked for me so why not you approach. Since we're not all robots but individuals what works for me probably won't work for you. Instead, I believe that we should all seek out instructors who understand muscular imbalances, strengths, weaknesses, injuries whatever have you and can cater to those things.
I believe a well rounded approach works best. Sure, you can do lots of sit ups and claim it will get you abs. But when you're looking for specific results, often more resources are needed. Pole dancers especially benefit from learning techniques on the pole, off the pole and in the kitchen.
I rant. A lot. I assume you'll come to expect it- all my other clients do. But the truth is, I rant because I care. Seriously. Activity in the world today frightens me because we seem to be all over the place. So here's my advice: find something you love and do it. I did.
